Maciek Roszkowski

In 1978, only days after the USSR launched Kosmos 1000 navigational satellite, Poland responded by launching the chocolate fueled Maciek Roszkowski. Growing up in Poland and Germany, he dazzled his teachers with unconventional art projects. In the early 1990’s he arrived in Canada and pursued Computer Science at Trent University. Realizing that he would rather have the machine work for him, rather than working on the machine, he transferred to Ryerson’s New Media and Photography studies. Maciek focused on image manipulation, ranging from abstract to the glamour of advertising. In 2002 Maciek joined Sugino Studio and is now the Senior Digital Artist working on both stills and motion projects.
